About us

About Us

Established by Tony Denton in 1998, Adds Up Engineering specialises in custom design, manufacture and repair of farming equipment. We have many years’ experience with equipment for ground preparation, planting, spraying, handling and packing of fruit and vegetables for small crops, tree crops/orchards and have even exported high clearance cane spraying machinery to Okinawa, Japan.

Tony has a very good reputation for honesty and reliability, not only in the local area but throughout Australia. His integrity and commitment to the agricultural industry have been instrumental to the development and successes not only of his business, but also many others. We enjoy strong working relationships with many return customers.

When the company started, Tony worked on his own for 18 months, and gradually built up the business.

By 2005 the company had outgrown its workshop premises, and moved to Ellen Drive, Bundaberg. Again, by 2014, the workshop had grown too small, and the larger shed next door became available. After moving into it and continuing to grow, Adds Up Engineering can be found today at 67 Verdant Siding Road, Thabeban.

Tony has researched and developed a self contained fertigation unit – the agitator – to mix and dissolve fertiliser, with the capability of being injected through irrigation lines.

He has also designed, developed and patented an oscillating fan sprayer for unrivalled penetration and coverage of trees.
